Our Ordering Process

Does our service cost anything extra?

No. Our service is free for all users. We receive a commission from the provider, which allows us to offer our customers the SIM card at a discount of CHF 59. This only applies to orders from Salt Mobile.

With whom do I conclude the contract?

The contractual partner is directly the respective provider. You will receive all documents and paperwork, as well as invoices and SIM cards, from the provider. We are a premium partner and officially recognized, which is why we also have exclusive offers.

When will the SIM card be shipped?

The SIM card is sent by mail free of charge within one business day. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as the shipment has been sent, so you can stay up to date. With an eSIM, the QR code is sent immediately after ordering.

What happens after graduation?

Once you have taken out a subscription with us, all documents will be sent to you in writing as PDF files by email. We will also continue to be available to answer any questions you may have after the contract has been concluded. You can contact us in Swiss German or German.

Why are the prices different from those offered directly by the provider?

How does the ordering process work?

Do I have to cancel my contract with my current provider myself?

The new subscription will only start once the existing subscription has ended. You won't pay twice, and there will be no interruption. We will take care of the timely cancellation and transfer of your number for you. You don't need to do anything extra after placing your order. The transfer date will be communicated to you via text message.

Can I transfer my cell phone number from another provider?

Yes, you can transfer your existing cell phone number from another provider at no cost. Salt will automatically handle the transfer of your current number and the cancellation of your old plan.

How can I find out when my contract ends or expires?

In most cases, contracts without a device or cell phone can always be terminated within 60 days. We automatically check the correct date and notify you via text message. Costs are only incurred after the existing, i.e., current contract has expired.

Is Apple Watch support available?

Yes, Apple Watch is now supported with all new Salt subscriptions. For just CHF 5.95 per month, you can activate this option directly in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone after signing up, and you can cancel it at any time.

Will the Salt prepaid balance be transferred?

Yes, your existing balance will be transferred, and with Salt Prepaid, you’ll keep the same SIM card—no new SIM card is needed. The balance will be applied to your upcoming bills. With other providers, you can set the start date for the transfer.

The number is registered to the company—will that work?

Yes, that’s no problem. Just click on “Select Subscription” and fill out the form. During the process, enter the company name in the “Account Holder” field. We’ll then send you a form for transferring the number, along with instructions, via email. You can simply forward the form and the email to your IT department or supervisor.

Can I order an eSIM instead of a regular SIM card?

I'm new to Switzerland. Can I sign up for this plan too?

Yes, that's no problem. To have the SIM card shipped, you simply need a Swiss address or an address in Liechtenstein, because we only ship within Switzerland and Liechtenstein. You can also use your employer's Swiss address or a friend's address. To do this, fill in the "c/o" field during checkout with the name of the person listed on the mailbox.

The plan operates on the excellent network of the mobile carrier Salt, which has been active on the Swiss market since April 2015 and whose Pro plans are aimed at small and large businesses. The Europe Zone includes the following 40 countries

Important Information About the Subscription
